Gerhard Robert Walter of Coeckelberghe-Dützele Pseudonym: Realis (born 9 February 1786 in Löwen, Austrian Netherlands, 5 July 1857 in Maria Enzersdorf, Lower Austria), was an Austrian official and writer. In 1794, the family Coeckelberghe, a small noble family, escaped to Austria before the French Revolutionary Groups. In 1806, the young Gerhard entered the service as an accountant and served until 1843. He also published under the pseudonyms Severin and then Realis novels and historico-topographical writings. The two-volume curiosities and memorabilia lexicon of Vienna (1846) is regarded as his principal work.
