Franz Joseph Bergmüller
Franz Joseph Bergmüller (born March 18, 1733 in Türkheim, Germany, 22 September 1796) was a cabinetmaker. The son of Dominikus Bergmüller probably completed his education with his father. In 1755 he was granted the citizenship of the town of Weissenhorn in Oberschwaben. In the same year he married there. He moved to Schwäbisch Gmünd in 1762. This could have been the result of a recommendation from Dominikus Zimmermann. Around 1767 he worked in Neresheim, Dischingen and the surrounding area. In the years 1768 and 1780 he worked in the parish church of St. Michael in Krumbach together with his brother Johann Bergmüller. Edit WorksQualtext Edit source text
