Fărâmiţă Lambru was born on 15 September 1927 as Lambru Fărâmiţă. The Fărâmiţă family was a well-known musician family. Lambrus father was the violinist Tudor Fărâmiţă.

From 1952 to 1956 he played in the formation of the Teatrul de Estradă in Bucharest, later Teatrul de revistă "Constantin Tănase".
