A punching ball (also called punching ball, punching ball or boxball) is a classic training device especially for boxers.

The Punchingball consists of a freely movable leather boxball, which is often attached to a springy frame. The rack is usually attached to the floor (this Punchingball is also called Boxstand). Punching balls can also be attached to the wall by means of a hook. Punchingballs, which have floor and ceiling fastening, are also called double end balls. Also known as corn birch in a special version.

The Punchingball is used for fist and foot training and is designed to train the impact strength and speed of reaction. Edit source text
