Laodike Thea Philadelphus (* between 122 and 115 BC) was a daughter of the Seleucid king Antiochus VIII and the Ptolemy Cleopatra (?) Tryphaina. In order to confirm a peace treaty between Syria and Commagene, she married the heir of the latter kingdom, Mithridates I. Kallinikos, and gave birth to Antiochus I. Theos, who built a monumental tomb at Nemrut Dağı with the family's tribe tree. The Hierothesion at Karakuş is, however, not built for Laodice, but for her granddaughter of the same name, one of the daughters of Antiochus I.
