Club Deportivo Fortuna (San Sebastián)


The Club Deportivo Fortuna is a sports club of San Sebastián (Guipúzcoa) Spain. It is a sports club with numerous sections and vocation to boost the base sport.

History

The club has its origin in the dissolution, in 1909, of the Cyclist Club of San Sebastián. As a result of this dissolution arose, on the one hand, the Real Sociedad de Fútbol and, on the other, the 'Peña Fortunista', that was constituted in the Sports Club Fortuna in 1911.

Since the early years various sections were formed such as football, athletics, ball, mountaineering, cycling, swimming, etc.

In 1919, the club organized for the first time the famous Behobia-San Sebastian pedestrian race.

In 2012 he received the Golden Drum for the organization of the Behobia-San Sebastián race. Rowing Section

The rowing section was created in the early 1980s. By the end of that decade, 3 flags of trawlers were obtained and participated in the Flag of the Shell. In the same way, the Championship of Guipúzcoa of Trainerillas was obtained in 1989.

In 2009, he joined the Donostiarra unified trawler project.

In the women's category, she won the Guipúzcoa Bateles Championship in 2002 and 2004.
