Baden Powell (comic)

Baden Powell is a Franco-Belgian comic created by Jijé.

The realistic biography about scout founder Robert Baden-Powell appeared between October 1948 and June 1950 in Spirou. To get a realistic picture, Jijé went to England in October 1947 and again in June 1948. The pages were mostly created during his stay in the USA and Mexico.

Dupuis published the album in 1950 and 1957. This was followed by further editions in the Histoire en Bandes Dessinées and Figures de proue, as well as the complete edition of Tout Jijé. A new issue was released by Triomphe 2014.

In the magazine The cheerful Fridolin it came 1960 to the German first publication. Comicothek printed the album 1987 in a non-colored version. Single-level Edit source text
