Ruwi (Arabic روي, DMG Ruwī) is a suburb of Muscat, capital of Oman. It is located north of the district of Al Wadi al Kabir and south of Matrah. Ruwi is the banking and business district of the city. In the main street Ruwi High Street there are jewelers, a fish market, a shopping center, restaurants and several cinemas. The tallest house in the neighborhood is the Sheraton Oman Hotel.
