Rio Alto Beach

Praia do Rio Alto (also known as Praia de Estela, in Portuguese Praia do Rio Alto or Praia da Estela) is a maritime beach in Póvoa de Varzim, located in the parish of Estela. On the beach of the Rio Alto, the Alto River flows out, which is born in the foothills of the São Felix mountain.

Because it is difficult to access (it is only accessible on foot, through other beaches or through dunes and masseiras) and the privacy offered by its dunes, is a frequent destination of naturists, despite not being officially classified as such.
