Peter Mansfeld
Péter Mansfeld (March 10, 1941 - March 21, 1959) was a Hungarian student and a victim of the communist justice in Hungary.
Mansfeld, like many of his contemporaries, took part in the Hungarian uprising in 1956 and was sentenced to a liberty as a minor. When he became 18, the verdict was later converted into a death sentence and Mansfeld was hanged 11 days after his 18th birthday.
As one of 350 rebellious insurgents Mansfeld was especially known through his youth. After Mansfeld the street Mansfeld Péter utca in the XVII. District in Budapest. In February / March 2006, Péter Mansfeld was the turn-of-the-mill for a feature film titled Mansfeld - In the highest interest.
