Androi belonged to a construction tradesman / master builder from Roveredo in Misox in Graubünden. In 1728 he was shown in Graz, where he took over the workshop of his compatriot Pietro II Zarro. His first known work is the stucco in the choir of the Catholic parish church of SS. Pietro e Paolo in the Graubündner Mesocco (1720 to 1730). He then worked in Styria, where he stuck the library in 1730 in Veitsch in the Propstei and in 1731 in the Vorau prince, together with his relative Domenico II Androi. From 1736 until about 1745 he worked for the St. Lambrecht Abbey in 45 rooms (main building: Prelatensaal, 1739). He also created stuccoes in various buildings in Graz (Johanneum, Mariahilf, 1739) and other places in Styria, such as the Kuenburg castle in Tamsweg, the church in Tamsweg, the Renathihaus in Murau. In Scheifling he stuck the parsonage, in Aflenz the Propstei and in St. Marein in the Mürztal the Pfarrhof. In Piacenza he stuck in the Palazzo Morando of the Sala delle Specchiere. He had been married to Maria Elisabeth Theresia Conrad since 1733.

Androis forms treasures ranged from the usual bandlit and the stucco of flower garlands, flower chains and vines to palms, vases, birds, masks and putti. In a later phase, the trellis was added to the bandwork. In his last ten years of life, the Rokoko (Tamsweg Castle) is recognizable. Edit source text Weblinks Edit sourcetext
