The East German general elections of 1963 were held on 20 October 1963. They were originally to be held in November 1962, but were postponed. A total of 434 deputies were elected to the Volkskammer, all being candidates of the unique list of National Front.

Of 11 621 158 registered voters, 11 533 859 (99.25%) voted, with 99.95% of the votes for the candidates of the Front and 0.05% against. 0.04% of the votes were invalidated. Results
