Amintas II
Amintas II (Ancient Greek Ἀμύντας, Amýntas) Micros (the little one) was a king of Macedon of the Argéada dynasty.
It is unknown if it was the small son of Alexander I or illegitimate son and son-in-law of Archelaus. He claimed the crown after the death of Aropo II (393 BC), to which his son Pausanias had succeeded, believing that he had a greater right to the throne than the latter, who in the end was the son of a usurper. He was assassinated by Derdas, a prince of Lincestis. Bibliography
