Caja de Ahorros Provincial de Zamora

The Provincial Savings Bank of Zamora was, until 1990, a Spanish savings bank.

It emerged in 1965 under the initiative of the Provincial Council of Zamora (its main owner), and disappeared when it merged with other Castile and Leon (Caja de Ahorros and Monte de Piedad de León, Caja de Ahorros Popular de Valladolid, Caja de Ahorros Provincial de Valladolid, Caja de Ahorros y Monte de Piedad de Palencia) to form Caja España de Inversiones, Caja de Ahorros and Monte de Piedad, better known as "Caja España".

Its branches were spread mainly by the province of Zamora and received funds from the Zamora municipalities, which pushed it up to the time of its merger.
