building project

A building project (BVH) is the intention to build or modify a building (building). Construction projects are normally subject to approval or at least to be notified. This is the building application. In order to monitor the construction projects, in particular for the examination of building applications, almost all states have construction supervision authorities.

In Germany, building projects are legally defined in § 29 of the Building Code and the building regulations of the federal states.
