Paine River

The Paine River is located in the Chilean Patagonia, it belongs to the Serrano River Basin, being the main tributary of that river, and the Lake of the Toro.

The river is born on Lake Dickson and reaches about 9 km before reaching Lake Paine. Once this happens the river retains its name and runs another 15 000 hakm until it reaches Lake Nordenskjöld. Once drained in the latter, the Paine River reaches Lake Pehoe, from a jump of 12 000 ha in height. Once it leaves Lake Pehoe, it participates in another jump of five meters, it crosses six kilometers more and it distributes its waters in the lake of the Bull.
