Wilhelm Denicke

Wilhelm Denicke studied law at the University of Göttingen and became a member of the Corps Verdensia Göttingen in 1872. After the Referendarzeit was first from 1880 as a court attorney with the public prosecutor Magdeburg active. In 1881 he became an administrator in Treysa. In 1887 he moved to municipal administration and became Stadtsyndikus von Celle, where he was elected first mayor in 1895 as successor to Otto Hattendorf. Denicke was a member of the provincial delegation Hanover from 1894 to 1919.
