PO.CO.MA.CO, acronym for the Commercial Polygon of A Coruña, is a commercial polygon located in Mesoiro, 5 km from A Coruña, which has 376 companies installed, and is managed by the Association of Entrepreneurs of the Polígono de Pocomaco. It has its own railway section with capacity for 200 wagons, service station, post office and sewage system with sewage treatment plant. The urban bus service connects it with the center of the city through lines 21, 23 and 23A.
The total area of the polygon is 736,000 square meters, of which 479,440 are for plots.
In February 1967, the Constitutive Assembly was held in which the Association of Employers was created. The urbanization works began in July 1972, and ended in December 1974, with an investment only in land acquisition, urbanization and ancillary works of € 15,025,303, to which € 85,343,720 construction of ships, facilities and equipment, yielding a total of 100,369,023 €.
In 2008 there was an average daily traffic intensity of 20,000 vehicles, of which 70% is heavy traffic.
