Felicity (Insel)
Félicité is an island of the Seychelles and, like all the granite islands, is counted among the inner Seychelles around the main island of Mahé. It is located about 50 kilometers from Mahé.
Félicité is about three square kilometers, making it the sixth largest island in the interior of Seychelles. It is now used as a holiday island. Until the seventies of the 20th century. the island served as a coconut plantation, on which about 50 people lived. In the late 19th century Sultan Abdullah of Perak was interned by the British.
With its neighboring islands, Ile Cocos, Les Soeurs and Marianne, the island belongs to the so-called "satellite islands" of La Digue. Commons: Félicité, Seychelles - collection of pictures, videos and audio files
