Dora von Bodenhausen, also Dora von Bodenhausen-Degener, born Countess Dorothea Elisabeth Eva Marie of Degenfeld-Schonburg (born April 3, 1877, † 1969 in Ascona) was the wife of the art historian Eberhard von Bodenhausen and the mother of the actress Luli of Bodenhausen. She was known and befriended with numerous artists, poets and patrons of her time, including Harry Graf Kessler and Hugo von Hofmannsthal.
In 1959, under the title "Eberhard von Bodenhausen: A Life for Art and Business", she published an edition with diaries and letters from her husband. This book contains inter alia excerpts from the correspondence of Bodenhausens with Henry van de Velde, Rudolf Alexander Schröder, Rudolf Borchardt and other prominent figures of the arts and cultural life at the beginning of the 20th century.
