Astra Kapferer

The Astra Kapferer was a French tandem monorail from 1908, built by Societé Sourcouf.

As a tandem monoplane, the aircraft had two pairs of wings arranged one behind the other. The Pilotensitz was located directly in front of the rear wing pair. The tailplane was cruciform. The drive was effected by a 7-cylinder R.E.P. Star motor directly driving a twin-blade air screw.
