Annel de Noré (Paramaribo, December 15, 1950) is a writer from Suriname; use the pseudonym Netty Simons. He works in the field of education. In 2001 he settled in the Netherlands.

With her first novel De Bruine Zeemeermin (2000), Annel de Noré won a prize in the prose category of the contest organized by the Dutch Embassy in Caracas for the Dutch Caribbean area. The dedication and effort of this new author was confirmed by the publication of the first collection of stories by De Noré entitled Het kind met de grijze ogen (2004), which deal with frustrated dreams and expectations deposited in painful relationships. In 2007 he published the novel Stem uit duizenden. Bibliography
