In 1984, Biderman was involved in the story of American Dreamer. Afterwards she appeared again as screenplay author in the 1990er years with the series New York Cops - NYPD Blue. For this she was awarded an Emmy. There followed three thrillers, only in the 2000s she returned to television.

On the basis of her screenplay, the story of Miss Smilla's flair for snow, which is based on Peter Høeg's book of the same name, was created in 1997.

Biderman developed the television series Southland (2009-2013) and Ray Donovan (since 2013). In both, she was also involved as an executive producer.
