Victoriano de Acima


Victoriano de Encima y Piedra (Cádiz, 29 March 1766 - c., 1840) was a Spanish politician who developed much of his work in Andalusia, and more specifically in Cadiz, where he was active until after the War of the Spanish Independence in different public destinations related to the commercial activities of Cadiz, especially towards the Spanish colonies in America and Asia. He was director of the Real Amortization Fund and member of the boards of commerce with the Indies and with the Philippines. With the death of Ferdinand VII and the establishment of a liberal regime in the minority of Isabel II, was appointed secretary of the office of Finance, a position that made compatible with the one of dispatch of Fomento (1832-1833). > Bibliography
