Viaduct of Goteik

The bridge is located between the towns of Pyin U Lwin, the summer capital of the former British colonial administrators of Burma.

The Goteik Viaduct is a railway in Nawnghkio, in the western part of Shan State, Burma. and Lashio, the main northern city of Shan State. It is the highest bridge in the country and when it was completed, the largest railway of its kind in the world. The bridge is located about 100 km northeast of Mandalay.

The bridge was started in 1899 and completed in 1900.
