Rasteder Musiktage

The Rasteder Musiktage is a music event held in Rastede since 1955 annually in July. The event has become one of the biggest competitions for drum corps, fanfare shows, concert bands and show-Marching bands in Europe.

Within the framework of the event, the European Open Champion will be played in various disciplines as well as qualifications for world championships. There are regularly several national champions from neighboring European countries.

In 2010, 103 participants took part in a weekend. The year 2011 also attracted 3,000 musicians in 56 bands from seven countries and over 10,000 spectators. Amongst others, the Pattaya City Marching Band, the Drum & amp; Bugle Corps Beatrix, Blue Lions, Showband Rastede, Strausberg Fanfarenzug and the music club Rühle.
