The Stationsgebäude was designed by the architect Georg Andreas Bull in the style of historicism. It was built as a plastered brick building. The façade to the Town Hall Square (Rådhusplassen), bordered by two low towers, stands diagonally to the main direction of the building. The windows and doors are decorated with round arches.

The building now houses the Nobel Peace Center (Norwegian Nobels Fredssenter, English Nobel Peace Center). Edit source text Weblinks Edit sourcetext Commons: Vestbanestasjonen - collection of pictures, videos and audio files
