Skyliner (Lakemont Park)




Skyliner in Lakemont Park (Altoona, Pennsylvania, USA) is a wooden tram designed by John C. Allen and the manufacturer Philadelphia toboggan coasters with the serial number 127. Originally opened in Lakemont Park in 1987, Roseland Park was also a skyliner opened. In 1985 it was closed to move to the Lakemont Park.

The 732-meter-long track is a double out-and-back layout with a height of 18 m. The first descent is 14 m high. Edit Trace Text

Skyliner owns a train with three cars. Each car can accommodate six persons (three rows of two persons). Originally the train ran with two trains, but over time the parts of the second train were used as spare parts for the first train. Weblinks Edit sourcetext
