Rodrigo M. Talamante

Rodrigo M. Talamante (1876-1939) was a Mexican military man who participated in the Mexican Revolution and the Cristera War. He was born in Sonora. He joined constitutionalism in 1913. In 1914 and 1915 he fought under the orders of General Álvaro Obregón. In 1924 he reached the rank of brigadier general. He was chief of military operations in different parts of the country. In 1926 and 1927 he was in charge of the campaign against the Cristeros in Colima. He died in Hermosillo, Sonora, in 1939. Bibliography
