Long Point (Ontario)

Long Point is a sandy country strip in the northern part of Lake Erie. This is part of Norfolk County, in the Canadian province of Ontario. The strip is about 40 km long and up to one kilometer wide.

Around 450 inhabitants live there every year. In the summer months, the number rises to 5,000 people who live or camp in huts. Longpoint is very popular with water sports such as sailors, swimmers, anglers or canoeists. Each year around 100,000 tourists spend their summer holidays in the village. Weblinks Edit sourcetext
