Google Fonts (formerly called Google Web Fonts) is a free interactive directory under the application that programs interfaces for web fonts. This was released in 2010, and renewed in 2011. Many of the sources are under the SIL Open Source License (SIL) 1.1, while some are released under the Apache License (Apache License); both are free software licenses. The fonts are also uploaded by SkyFonts from Monotype's SkyFonts, Adobe's Web Fonts and Typekit services.
Google Fonts is designed to provide a free platform for users to discover new fonts and is widely used, some of the sources it includes are Lato, Raleway, and Lobster.
