Cirilo Rodríguez (Segovia, 1926 - Madrid, November 21, 1980) was a Spanish radio journalist. Biography

He began his professional career in Radio Segovia and from July 3, 1967 on Radio Nacional de España, where in 1975 he was appointed chief editor of RNE's information services and in 1979 head of the international information service, he was also a correspondent including the arrival of the man on the Moon, the resignation of Richard Nixon, the assassination of Robert Kennedy, the Vietnam War or the victory of Jimmy Carter.

In his honor, the annual Cirilo Rodríguez Journalism Prize, organized by the Press Association of Segovia and rewards correspondents or envoys of Spanish media abroad, is celebrated annually.
