Chris Hughes (record producer)

Chris Hughes (real name Christopher Hughes) is an English record producer who previously achieved fame playing for Punk bands and New Wave. He was born in London, England, on March 3, 1954, but began his musical career in Liverpool, playing in local bands such as The Blitz Brothers and Dalek I Love You, with which he is from 1979 to 1980 and takes part in the album recording Compass Kumpass. That year, he joins Adam And The Ants, led by Adam Ant, replacing Dave Barbarossa (who went with the rest of this band to Bow Wow Wow), participating in the albums Kings Of The Wild Frontier (1980) and Prince Charming (1981). In 1982, the group dissolves and meets in Dalek I Love You, and begins working with Tears For Fears, who produces their first two albums, The Hurting and Songs From The Big Chair.
