Annegret Ottke
Christoph Redecker (* 10 November 1652 in Osnabrück, 15 January 1704 in Rostock, also Redeker) was a lawyer, university lecturer and mayor of Rostock

In 1661, he moved to Rostock, his uncle, Professor Heinrich Rudolph Redeker. In 1666 he was enrolled at the University of Rostock. From 1667 he went to the grammar school Stettin, then from 1672 he studied jurisprudence at the University of Rostock. In 1674 and 1675 he started traveling with his uncle, and from 1676 on he became a courtier. During this time he visited Holland, England and France.
In 1682, at the University of Greifswald, iur. and then in 1685 full professor of the rights at the University of Rostock as well as assistant to the consistory. On February 24, 1693, he was appointed Senator in Rostock, and on 7 March of that year he became mayor.
