Anna Mikhailovna Knoroz, born Чуприна - Tschuprina - Chuprina, born July 30, 1970) is a former Russian hurdler who specialized in the 400 meter course and because of its sprint strength was also used in the 4 x 400 meter relay.

At the European Junior Athletics Championships in Varaždin in 1989 she won silver for the Soviet Union. In 1991, she won bronze at the Universiade in Sheffield and finished the semi-final at the Tokyo World Championships in Tokyo. She also started at the World Cup in the run-up to the four-time 400-meter relay, thereby contributing to the gold medal for the Soviet team.

As a representation of Russia, she left the semi-final at the World Cup in Stuttgart in 1993. In 1994, she won bronze at the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki. She did not go beyond the first round at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, and she returned to the semi-finals at the 1997 World Cup in Athens. In 1998 she became seventh at the European Championship in Budapest.

In 1991, she became a Russian master, 1992, 1993, 1994, and 1998 Russian master. She set her personal best time over 400 m hurdles of 54.11 s in Nice on 18 July 1994. Weblinks Edit sourcetext Edit FootnotesQuote text
