Wilhelm Brausch


Wilhelm Brausch (* 21 September 1913, † 16 December 1992 in Xanten) was a German retailer - he was regarded as the original city in Xanten.

Brausch ran a kiosk opposite the Kriemhildmühle, which made him known among the children and adults with the sale of sweets, newspapers, cigarettes and others. He kept a lot of talk, and he gave joyous information to the numerous tourists in the city. He was known to the population as "Grandpa at the Mill" or "Grandpa from the Mill".
