As Master of Waha (Maitre de Waha, Maitre du calvaire de Waha, Bel.nl. Meester van Waha) is a wood sculptor of the outgoing Middle Ages. The not-known artist was active in the Famenne region at the beginning of the 16th century. He received his nickname after his six figures in the village of Waha, now part of the municipality of Marche-en-Famenne in the province of Luxembourg of today's Belgium. Beside these figures, to be found in the St. Stephen's Church there, including a three-part crucifixion group, the master is credited with some more sculptures, which are located in a museum in Marche-en-Famenne.

The master of Waha is regarded as a major last representative of the Late Gothic style in the region, a final testimony of this style before the transition to the Renaissance.

Why, and how the medieval, not necessarily rich or ecclesiastically important Waha wanted to afford such splendid and precious figurines, is not to be clarified, but after its designation after the place in more recent time the master of Waha there as a timeless sculptor and an outstanding personality.
