The Aurora UFO Incident is an alleged UFO collision that occurred on April 17, 1897 in the then town of Aurora, Texas. The alleged UFO crashed into the windmill of Judge J.S. Proctor and then fell to the place where there is a well. After the crash, the people who came to the place found the remains of the ship and the corpse of the pilot. This body was buried in a tomb in the local cemetery with an anonymous tombstone; later the gravestone disappeared. Supposedly Judge J.S. Proctor buried the remains of the ship at the bottom of the well, contaminating it with radioactive agents. Years later one of his descendants was dedicated to cleaning the well and contracted a serious case of arthritis and was such that ended up killing him.
