Robert III of Hesbaye

Robert III of Hesbaye was a Frankish nobleman of the Roberts family. Son of Robert II of Hesbaye, it is testified like count of Worms and of Oberrheingau between the years of 812 and 816. It is ascendant, among others, of the present king of Spain Felipe VI.

He married Waldrada, daughter of Count Adrian of Orleans, niece of Hildegard of Anglachgau, wife of Charlemagne, sister of Odon of Orleans and aunt of Ermentrudis of Orleans, wife of Charles the Bald. From this marriage, were born:

He died before 834. His son Robert inherited his counties in 836.
