Gerhard Schwarz (born December 3, 1919 in Berlin, Germany, March 15, 1992) was a German politician (SPD).

Gerhard Schwarz was a son of a Porzellandrehers and visited a school in Berlin-Moabit, which he finished with the middle maturity. He made an apprenticeship as a technical merchant in 1938 and passed the Kaufmannsgehilfen examination. In 1939 he had to become a Reichsarbeitsdienst and was then drafted by the Wehrmacht. While still in the war, he passed the Abitur as an external student in 1943.

After the Second World War, Schwarz joined the SPD in 1946. He studied law at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and moved to the Freie Universität in 1948, where he graduated in 1951 as the first legal state exam. In 1954 he graduated from the Second State Exam and became a lawyer, later also from 1965 as notary. At the 1963 Berlin election, Schwarz was elected to the District Ordinance in the district of Zehlendorf. Since Paul Fleischmann had died, he moved to the Berlin House of Representatives in June 1965. With the end of the legislative period in March 1967, he was again district administrator in Zehlendorf, where he was a temporary faction chairman.
