Felipe López Delgado


Felipe López Delgado (1902-1981) was a Spanish architect of the early twentieth century. Its style was framed in the rationalist architecture in Madrid proper of beginning of century XX. One of his most outstanding works was the building that houses the Teatro Fígaro, built in 1931. This work earned him the Second Medal at the National Exhibition of Fine Arts in 1932. He was a distinguished member of GATEPAC (Group of Artists and Among his post-war works are the Bar and Tea Room "Xauen" on Calle Serrano, as well as a contest for a commemorative source of the Water Bring in Vitoria, the building of the 'Corunna Cinema' in Corunna, was presented to contest for the realization of the Fountain of Juan de Villanueva, second.
