Aosta Valley
Aosta Valley Living (Vallée d'Aoste Vive) (VdAV) was a socioliberal Italian political party in the Aosta Valley. It was founded on 4 December 2005 as a split from the left wing of Union Valdostana (UV), and its leader was Roberto Louvin.
In the 2006 general election, RV was a member of the Democracy Freedom of Democracy (ALD) coalition, along with Democrats of the Left (DS), Democracy is Liberty-La Margarita (DL), [Renewal Valdostana] , Adelante Valle, the Party of the Communist Refoundation, the Federation of the Greens and other minor parties. ALD got a deputy, Roberto Rolando Nicco (DS), and a senator, Carlo Perrin.
In the 2008 regional elections VdAV formed a joint list with Renovación Valdostana (RV), with 12.5% of the votes and 5 regional deputies (35), of whom 3 were from RV. However ALD was harshly defeated by Valle de Aosta Autonomy Progress Federalism (APF).
In February 2010, VdAV agreed to merge into a new party called Autonomy Freedom Participation Ecology (ALPE) along with RV, Alternative Green (AVdA) and other center-left groups.
