Rheometer

A rheometer is a laboratory instrument used to measure the way a liquid, mixture or suspension flows under the action of external forces. It is used for fluids that can not be defined with a single viscosity value and therefore require more parameters than a viscometer can provide. It measures the rheology of the fluid.

The parts of the rheometer are: rotating cylinder, stationary cylinder, return spring, reading dial, gear set, gearshift lever (L600, L300), knob, crank and bracket.
