In 1943 elections were held in Turkey on 28 February of the year.

The last election took place in the framework of the one-party system, with the national chief president, Ismet Inönü, allowing far more independent and partial candidates this time. Only the Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi was a party. After the election, the Grand National Assembly of Turkey was opened on March 8, 1943, and Inönü commissioned Şükrü Saracoğlu as government minister with the Cabinet Formation. Elections in Turkey
