Grid connection agreement

The grid connection contract is a contract between the subscriber and the network operator in the energy industry. The subscriber is the owner of an object (eg a house or land) connected to the network of the network operator.

The network connection contract includes, inter alia, the address of the terminal, the property limit, the voltage level, the land use (access right) and the grid connection capacity. As a rule, a building cost allowance is paid by the subscriber for the mains connection capacity. The mains connection capacity is the electrical power that the network operator maintains at the connection. It determines among other things the size of the fuse. The legal requirements of the low-voltage connection regulations apply to users in low voltage.

However, a further contract, the so-called electricity supply contract, is necessary for the supply of electricity. This is closed between a power supplier (supplier) and the connected user. The connection user can be the same person as the connection user (see connection agreement). Edit source text
