Georges André
Georges André (born July 26, 1876 in Paris, France, March 19, 1945) was a French winter sportsman (bobsled and curling) and Olympic athletes from 1924.
Together with André Berg, Henri Aldebert and Jean Marquis de Suarez d'Aulan, Gerards André took the lead in Bob France I in 4th place in the first Olympic Winter Games in Chamonix in 1924.
As a curling player, André took the place with the French team in the same games. In 2006, the IOC recognized the curling competitions as an official component of the winter games and gave him the bronze medal.
