Unirea Shopping Center is a shopping center located in Piaţa Unirii, a square in the center of Bucharest, the capital of Romania. It was opened in the early 1990s, a milestone as the city's first modern shopping center. It also meant a break with the dictatorship of communist leader Nicolae Ceauşescu of previous years, as it was built in a building of the former president.
Today, along its four floors, the mall houses approximately 250 fashion and leisure stores. These are spread over a total area of 83,971 m², among which are also 1,000 parking spaces. The management company of the enclave is Nova Trade.
