Rickey Parkey

Parkey created his first two fights, which took place in 1981. The following year, James Smith had his first defeat against James Smith. In 1984, he lost the vacant USBA title against Bernard Benton over 12 rounds after points and defeated Renaldo Snipes by a divided point decision over 10 rounds by points.
On January 28, he defeated the undefeated Lee Roy Murphy in the IBF World Champion's belt. He defended this title in March 1987 with a T.K.o. victory in the 12th round in a 15-day battle against Chisanda Mutti. Only six weeks later, WBA World Champion Evander Holyfield came out for the title. In this fight, Parkey was unimportant and already went in the third round k.o.
He lost his next three clashes in heavyweight against Johnny Du Plooy, Gary Mason and Alfonso Ratliff each by knockout. In December 1990 he conquered the unbelievable world title of the WBF. His last 12 fights lost Parkey. Weblinks Edit sourcetext
