Muséofile is a database of the Ministry of Culture of France that makes inventory of the existing works in a list of the musée certified institutions of France according to the law n ° 2002-5 of January 4, 2002, under the control scientific and technical state, and some other museums that are not under that control.

On January 1, 2016, this base contained 1315 museum records, 1216 of the 1222 museums of France recensified on October 10, 2014 and 99 other museums.
