Member of a noble family of Galician origin, was a ward of the queen's ward and elevations, as well as tax breaks. He was descended from the prelate of the XIII Pedro Suárez de Deza. He was a festive poet and servant of the court of Philip IV, composed mainly short pieces: thirteen hors d'oeuvres, sixteen dances and twelve mojigangas. He also composed two burlesque comedies represented in the palace, Lovers of Teruel and Love, wit and woman. His works were printed in the first part of the Doners of Tersicore Madrid: Melchor Sánchez, at the expense of Mateo de la Bastida, 1663.
